May is Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month, and the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute-Traffic Safety Division is reminding all Hoosiers to do their part in keeping motorcyclists safe on our roads. Whether you’re behind the wheel or behind the handlebars, safety is a shared responsibility.
With warmer weather and more riders hitting the road, now’s the time to slow down, stay alert, and always Look Twice—Save A Life.
145 motorcyclists were killed on Indiana roads in 2023.
Let’s change that—check your mirrors, look again, and share the road.

As the weather warms up, more motorcyclists are back on Indiana roads. Whether you’re driving a car or riding a bike, we all play a role in keeping each other safe.
Stay focused, take your time, and always double-check before changing lanes or turning. One extra look can make all the difference.
